SEC.01 Overview & Operational Scope

Welcome to Gravity Well (the "Game"). This Privacy Directive outlines our practices regarding the collection, transmission, processing, and protection of information when you launch and operate the Gravity Well mobile application on Android devices.

Your privacy and data sovereignty are paramount to us. We operate on a strict data-minimization principle: Gravity Well does not require user registration, logins, passwords, account creation, or access to your personal contacts, camera, or external storage.

SEC.02 Information We Collect & Why

Gravity Well collects zero personally identifiable information (PII) directly. To facilitate gameplay features, gameplay persistence, and third-party advertising, the following limited data categories are processed:

• Local Game State & High Scores: High scores, game audio preferences (Sound FX toggle, Haptics toggle), and best wave records are stored strictly on your local device via Android SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your hardware.
• Device & Telemetry Diagnostics: Automated anonymous telemetry (such as device model, OS build level, screen resolution, frame rates, and crash logs) processed via Android runtime to optimize rendering performance and maintain 60/120 FPS stability.
• Advertising Identifier (Google AAID): Utilized exclusively by the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display advertisements and prevent ad-fraud.

SEC.03 Third-Party Advertising (Google AdMob)

Gravity Well integrates the official Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob) to serve advertisements, which fund ongoing development and server maintenance:

SEC.04 Hardware Permissions Requested

Gravity Well requests only the bare minimum permissions required for operation:

• android.permission.INTERNET: Required to query and load ad units from Google AdMob servers.
• android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to verify network connectivity before initiating ad queries.
• android.permission.VIBRATE: Used for modern tactile haptic feedback effects during thruster burns, laser shots, and gravitational slingshots.

The application does NOT request access to Location, Microphone, Camera, Phone State, Contacts, or Biometrics.

SEC.05 Children's Privacy Compliance (COPPA / GDPR-K)

Gravity Well is designed as a universal arcade action game. We do not knowingly target, solicit, or collect personal data from children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the European Union).

If a parent or guardian discovers that unintended information has been transmitted, please notify us immediately via our contact directive, and we will take instantaneous steps to purge the records from all associated systems.

SEC.06 Data Retention, Deletion & Opt-Out Rights

Because all game progression metrics and preferences are stored locally in your device's isolated application sandbox, you retain total command:

• Local Data Reset: Clearing the application cache and storage via Android Settings (`Settings > Apps > Gravity Well > Storage > Clear Data`) immediately and permanently deletes all scores and settings.
• Ad Personalization Control: You can reset or opt out of interest-based advertising at any time by accessing your device settings (`Settings > Google > Ads > Reset advertising ID` or `Delete advertising ID`).

SEC.07 Revisions & Policy Modifications

We reserve the right to revise this Privacy Directive to reflect game feature expansions, SDK updates, or regulatory compliance mandates. Any modifications will be reflected with an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this terminal.
